UTM Thickness Measurements

• Thickness measuring is used to monitor erosion, corrosion, and damage. By the use of Ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTM), we are able to perform a non-destructive measurement (gauging) method to inspect the metal thickness of a vessel's piping, structural steel, and hulls. UTMs are required by classification societies and maritime authorities. ASG is approved by Bureau Veritas, Det Norske Veritas, and Faroese Maritime Authorities to make UTM.

Leak Test

• ASG makes leak test of pipes, valves, and tanks with air or water pressure. We can also examine bearings for wear and do fault-finding in electrical switchboards by use of ultrasonic equipment.
